Boat Rental Policy

Arrive at the marina 15 minutes before your schedueled departure time to allow time for signing of documents and a quick overview of the boat and equipment. Our staff will walk through the basic vessel operations with you to ensure that you are comfortable with the boat before your departure. Ask as many, or as few questions as needed. Our goal is safety and an enjoyable day for you and your family!!

GASOLINE
Boats will be full at the time of departure. You will be responsible for refueling the vessel upon your return. Gas is NOT included in the rental price. In the event gas has to be delivered to you during your rental time there is a $100 delivery fee plus the cost of the fuel.

SAFETY GEAR
For your safety,we provide each rental with life jackets (with the exception of infant vests), a throw cushion, a fire extinguisher, as well as an anchor & line. Any equipment misused will have to be paid for in full. Anyone under the age of eight must wear a life vest at all times.

AGE LIMIT
You must be 21 to rent/drive rentals with a valid driver’s license.

CLEANLINESS
Boats are clean when they depart from the marina and are expected to return in similar shape. No trash, mud, or debris is expected to be left on the boat by the customer. In the event the boat is not left in a condition to return to the water prior to being recleaned, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged to the customer, as we will have to hold the boat from future rentals until it is proprerly cleaned.

PAYMENT
A credit card is required to reserve a pontoon along with a 50% deposit.

CANCELLATION NOTICE
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy on all hourly, half day, and full day rentals. Any rental reservations canceled with less than a 72 hour notice will result in loss of the rental deposit paid. Weekly rentals incure a 5 day cancellation policy. Any weekly rental canceled with less than a 5 day notice will result in a loss of the rental deposit paid. A "no show" will result in loss of 100% of the rental fee, including the up front deposit as well as the remainder of the rental due. The credit card used to make the reservation and charge the deposit will be used for any of the fees listed above. Cancellations made within the cancellation time frame will result in a refund, or the deposit can be transferred to a different time (pending avaliablity).

WEATHER
Unfortuntaley, we cannot control the threat of bad weather. If there is a chance for this forcasted for the day of your rental, please call the marina to confirm the reservation. Rentals that must be canceled due to inclement weather can be rescheduled.

All Boats MUST be returned to Chewalla Creek Marina Daily at check in time
including weekly rentals.
